Cybercrime exhibits diverse characteristics including varied types, technical concealment, and extensive social impact. It encompasses multiple forms such as online fraud and hacker attacks, forming a complete criminal industrial chain that causes severe harm to individuals, the economy, and society. While current criminal legislation has established a foundational framework through domestic and international legal systems, it faces challenges like legislative delays, difficulties in cross-border law enforcement, and complex evidence verification. This paper analyzes the types, technical features, and societal impacts of cybercrime, examines the current status and shortcomings of domestic and international criminal regulation, and proposes improvement suggestions from perspectives including international cooperation, legal refinement, enhanced law enforcement, and public education. These recommendations aim to provide actionable strategies for combating emerging cybercrimes and improving the effectiveness of criminal regulation.
