25 Years of European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI)

Abstract

This paper briefly presents the history of ENFSI, the most important European forensic association. It begins with the initial idea to the modern non-profit organization. Activities of working groups, standing committees, governing board and general assembly, are described. Major scientific events and products of ENFSI are presented and described as well, and a portion of the paper is devoted to the contribution of the National Forensic laboratory to ENFSI.
