Programmes of Slovene government organisations for the prevention of child sexual abuse

Abstract

The article focuses on a presentation and evaluation of the strategic aspects of governmental organisations concerning the limitation of sexual violence towards children. The reader is familiarised with programs created by governmental institutions, the accent being upon the Resolution on Prevention and Suppression of Criminal Activity, the Resolution on The National Program of Prevention and Suppression of Criminal Activity for The Period 2007 - 2011, programs created by the Police, the Ministry of Labour, the Family and Social Issues and social work centres. The importance of inter-institutional collaboration is underlined and analysed. The analysis concerns the adequacy of collaboration among governmental organisations.
